(Photos by Chalit Poomruang)NAKHON SAWAN: Residents and tourists have been warned not to collect lotus plants from Bung Boraphet, the country's largest freshwater swamp, as it disrupts efforts to restore the ecologically degraded wetland. Wildlife officials from the Bung Boraphet Non-Hunting Area arrived at the “lotus viewing area” of the wetland in two boats to erect a warning sign in the water on Friday.
